Nasser Sajjadi on Saturday said the exported volume of gasoline earned the country 250 million dollars. He said Iran had to import gasoline up to last year but no longer has to do so because of the savings it makes due to reduced amount of gasoline consumption in the country.
This is because more people and industrial units are using gas by now, the official added. According to him, parts of exports went to Afghanistan and Pakistan via land border while the rest were exported through sea routes.
Sajjadi said the contract with Iraq to export gasoline there has also been finalized.
